Alpentänzer Schuhplattler - The Sacramento Turn Verein Alpentänzer Schuhplattler (STV Alpentänzer) was founded in the early-1970s by Richard Baltz, an international folk-dance teacher at American River Community College in Sacramento. In 1978, due to his declining health, Mr. Baltz gave up his position as director to Gary Schultz, who subsequently directed the activities of the group until 2011. Today’s leadership team keeps German folk dancing relevant and innovative with its popular performances—and credits the numerous Austrian and Bavarian dance instructors who have come to conduct dance workshops on folk dances of the Alpine regions.

AlpenBand California - AlpenBand California is a German style band performing at a wide variety of German oriented events. Oktoberfest, Maifest, Bockbierfest, Faschingfest and other German oriented events. They've performed all around the west coast throughout California, Oregon, Nevada and Washington since 2000. AlpenBand's music spans from German Traditional to modern Volkmusik to Oldies to International favorites. We are on Facebook. Igor and the Red Elvis's - Igor Yuzov was born in Germany, raised in Ukraine and studied in Russia. He grew up in the former Soviet Union, where folk music was the norm and rock’n’roll was illegal. As soon as it became possible, Igor left Russia for America with his “Folk’n’Roll” band Limpopo. In 1995, Igor dreamed that Elvis Presley came to him and told him to start playing rock’n’roll. Igor and his Russian friends became Red Elvises and gave street performances on Santa Monica’s 3rd Street Promenade. Evolving over the years, Igor’s music has been labeled “Siberian Surf Rock” which contains humorous lyrics and grooves that forces his audience to dance. As an independent band, Red Elvises have produced 12 studio albums, two live albums, a live concert DVD, and a Greatest Hits compilation. Red Elvises have performed for large festivals, private parties, and played on massive stages such as 2005’s Live 8 Benefit Concert. No matter where they perform, Igor & Red Elvises always bring the party with them.
